THE
NATIONAL TRUST
Ebworth Volunteer Group
What does the work involve? We do practical conservation work, cutting scrub or small trees, clearing paths etc., and in the summer we hope to do some work recording wildflowers. So it is a good opportunity to work alongside National Trust staff and learn something about local nature conservation. We provide all the tools – you need to wear outdoor clothes and stout shoes (ideally with steel toecaps), and bring a snack and drink.
The National Trust has volunteers involved in all aspects of our work, in fact we couldn’t operate without their loyal support. We have over 100 volunteers in S.W. Gloucestershire in a variety of roles including room stewards, garden stewards and volunteer wardens.
